Transport of yachts by road and sea
Our assistance is available to manufacturers, new buyers, and others who need to transport a new or second-hand yacht or small commercial vessel by road and/or sea.
What we can do:
- We first select the best available transport solution. This may be on own keel, by road, by seagoing transport, or a combination.
- The condition prior to transport is documented and reported, avoiding discussions about old or new damage afterwards.
- A stowage plan is prepared, which may include cradle selection and additional securing measures. Some parts may need to be dismantled. Care is taken to protect against damage, water infiltration, theft, and other risks.
- We witness loading on board a vessel or for road transport from the marina or factory.
- We also recommend witnessing at the place and time of discharge.
- We verify whether any incidents or damage have occurred.
- We can protect your legal rights.

How we operate:
- We hold a meeting to evaluate your plans and needs. This may include single long-distance voyages, learning techniques to operate (almost) solo, mooring and lock passages, voyage planning, safety, and much more.
- Once the needs are defined, the training programme is set up and can always be extended or adapted.
- For more experienced owners who require crew support, we can also assist.
- We also offer the possibility of a short refresher course.
